APCOA operating as new parking partner at Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports

We are proud that Manchester Airports Group (MAG) have selected APCOA to provide barrierless terminal forecourt solutions and associated services at Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands Airports. Services at all airports are now live following a phased roll-out which ensured a controlled implementation for customers and other users of the airports.

The partnership has introduced barrierless technology on forecourts and within parking operations to provide customers with a seamless process for entry and exit, together with flexible and convenient payment options. Supported by APCOA’s cloud-based Parkway system, the end-to-end solution maximises the use of technology, automation and data across vehicle detection, customer channels, payment reconciliation and enforcement.

As a result of the new barrierless solution, traffic flow has been improved around the airports and tailgating removed, resulting in safer roads and improved customer experience. APCOA’s solution supports MAG’s environmental objectives, encouraging a shift towards sustainable forms of transport, improving air quality, reducing noise pollution, and contributing to decarbonisation.

APCOA is the market leader in the UK, providing services to several airports, ranging in size from 4m – 84m passengers annually. Our barrierless solution was already in place at London Heathrow and London Luton Airports.
